Choo choo!

Last weekend, mommy and daddy and I went on a train ride. This train is a special one. It's really old! Grandma used to take mommy and aunt Meredith on it when they were little. She said it was a coal-driven train and we'd end up with soot and cinders in our hair. But that didn't happen because apparently the coal engine is being repaired. Oh well. Next time we go I can get grubby.

I loved the train. As soon as we got back to the car, it started to rain really hard. I liked that, too! We stopped at a diner for lunch on the way home where I charmed both the staff and customers by saying hello to everyone that passed by. I also made funny faces at myself in the mirror on the wall and called people passing by "mama" and "dada" (depending on who they resembled, of course), which everyone thought was hilarious.
